They are a little hard to come by these days. I would check with Barry at clams direct. If anyone can get them it would be him. E mail him and see what he says. He's a really nice person to deal with.

Why would you want a T. gigas in your 30 g tank? Mine grew from less than 2 inches to 22 inches over 5 years. This is including two years periord when he was sick with pinched mantel disease and did not grow at all.
They are hard to find, but if you want one you will need a larger tank.

well im not looking to get one now thats way to fast for me 22" that amazing good luck with it.my gigas days are over never new they grew that fast thought it would take many years wow thanks so much for the advice.but could you post some more pictures so that i could eat my heart out.
P.S. THANKS FOR THE ADVICE, maybe i will get a maxima tear drop of course.

Here is a picture of my old one, may he rest in peace, at about 15 inches I think. My new one is more beautiful with numerous purple instead of blue spots (lots more spots).
