I accidentally ran hot water through the Spectrapure R/O unit I just purchased for 5 or 10 min. Is it damaged/ruined? Thanks.

how about if ran with hot water for +8hrs?

check the tds and then you will have your answer. I know it is not a good idea to run hot water at all, because it ruins the membrane. For a couple minutes im sure it would be fine but eight hours probably fried it.

heh, oh yeah, i knew i bought that tds meter for a reason... :rolleyes:
