Digging around in the basement, I ran across yet another old IC 660 that I had forgotten about. :)

This one is fairly old ( serial # 97272 ). Based on a few posts about older IC's possibly having an issue w/ T5's, I thought I'd verify my application options before firing it up.

Please comment on the lamp arrays below and let me know if this ballast will have issues:

3x39w T5HO
4x39w "
2x54w "
3x54w "
4x54w "
2x80w "
3x80w "

I assume that I would use the same wiring diagram for a given number of lamps, regardless of their diameter (i.e. use the same circuit for 4xT5 as I would for 4xT12)?

Also, , and finally, I realize that the T5 lamps will be warmer than T12s would when driven by the IC, but will the ballast temp be warmer?

TIA!

The older model 660 will work just fine for all your proposed applications. Its limit would be 4 of the 54 watt T-5 lamps or 3 of the 80 watt T-5 lamps.
The ballast will be a bit warmer but just mount it to a heat sink and you should be fine.

Wiring diagrams will be the same as for the T-12 lamps.
