I finally borrowed a digital camera and we took some pictures. Any ID's would be welcomed especially the one titled "purple."

Purple/periwinkle is a tunicate, a.k.a. sea squirt or ascidian. Probably "Clavelina" genus. I can't help you out to the species level, sorry...
