[I haven't been able to find the root donor list for this, and I just picked it up at the Jan. meeting (not sure from who). I have taken the liberty of making a new thread for it. First taker gets it.]
-At the May meeting I will have 1 Small (3/4"-1") Frag of Anthelia. This is a Xenia-like soft coral that is pale-white in color and grows in a creeping mat.
-I have had great success with this coral and it has become one of my favorites. It pulses constantly and is very cool to watch.
-This coral has grown well for me under medium-intense lighting. I have had it under both VHO and MH and it does well under both.
-I have kept this coral under low-medium flow and have had success in both places. Overall this has been a very hardy coral and should do well under most sponsors. Providing that:
It is free to a member of the club providing that.....
They provide the correct environment for it to grow.
They are at the next meeting to receive a colony
They describe how it grows for them under their conditions, and what those conditions are.
They promise that once they are twice the size they are now, they will donate a colony the approximate size of the original donor colony.
If you wish to be a sponsor....reply to this list. The first reply will get a piece. The next people on the list will receive frags from the sponsors when the colony has doubled.
Thanks,
