2 weeks ago i bought my first clam a blue crocea about 5 inches long. im keeping it high up in my rockwork about 4" from the surface. it has attached to the rock i put it on. i have 4 x 95 watt VHO bulbs(2x URI super actinic blue and 2x Actinic white 12000k) with a polished aluminum reflector. im feeding the tank every day with phyto and live baby brine. do you think it will be ok?

Crocea's require the most light of all the clams. IMO it will need more light.

id appreciate a little more help here on this subject. has anyone kept crocea's under VHO's???????????????
I keep 3" corcea, 8" gigas and 9"derasa under 220 watts of vho and 96 watts of pc. The corcea has been in there a year, I took it out of my other tank with mh and think it colored up a little bright under the vho.

did you keep it in the sand bed under vho?
Yes their all on the sand. The sand bed is about 4" so there is about 15" of water above it.
