mantis shrimp tank help

hello im going to do a peacock mantis tank and its going to be a 20gal now its a Acyrlic tank its but its only 1/4 inch thick well that hold a 6''peacock and a minibow 7 can that hold one to i want to do 2 ty for your time

IME, yes a 20gal 1/4 acrylic will hold a 6" peacock if it is setup properly. Make the rocks are positioned/fixed in a manner that they are not being rearranged into the glass :)

Personally, I would pass on a 6" mantis in a 7gal mini. One of the little carib species would be great.

fwiw: 1/4" acrylic is stronger then 1/4" plate glass when measuring direct impacts.

I think a little p.cilita would be a cool mantis for a 7 gallon bow. I have one in my 6 gallon.
