photocell not working?

hello,

have a tunze 6000 w/ single controller and photocell. it's about two months old.

just noticed that with the photocell plugged in the controller always stays on power 2 (night mode) setting.

the photocell has not moved, nothing seems to have changed. any ideas on something i can tweak to fix this? do i need to send it back?

Have you tried disconnecting the power and checking the photocell has a firm connection, is clean and is getting light during the day? If you can't fix it send it back in a few weeks when I get back from Germany and I will fix it. It will be free unless it is a salt creep\water damage issue.

i disconnected the power and reseated the cable and it now works.
