7400 to 6100 conversion=6100 new?

Roger, Wanted to inquire if doing the conversion kit on a pair of 7400 would make them identical in look and performance to new 6100's? The multi-controller unit can handle "x" powerheads? Does it only handle Tunze powerheads or will the controller work 2 6100 retro's and say a pair of sea swirls? Thanks! Bob

You can convert a 7400 made within the past two years to a 6100. It costs about $85. The controller can only control turbelle classic, electronic and electronic stream pumps.
