Hi Scott,
I sent this to your Tech Support email address this morning and am posting here as well.
I have an old (10-12 year) SpectraPure CSP-25 unit that I have upgraded over the years (with your help). I have added a auto-shutoff, drinking water kit, DI Cartridge, Chloramine Cartridge and upgraded membranes over the years. Most recently, I was using a SpectraPure 60 gpd membrane. This unit does NOT have a pressure gauge or TDS meter.
We moved into a new house last July (when I upgraded from 40 gpd membrane to the 60 gpd). The unit worked fine up until last week. Since last July I have filled a 300 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank (to house my livestock after the move), a 450 gallon aquarium, done aquarium top off and water changes and used the unit for drinking water.
A week ago, the production from my unit (60 gpd membrane) stopped completely (no product water or waste water). I changed the prefilters (I always use .5 micron) and still no product or waste water. I checked all water flow and the flow seemed to be stopping at the membrane. So I figured the membrane was bad after all the water I have produced with it and purchased a SpectraPure 90 gpd membrane and flow restrictor from Premium Aquatics.
I replaced the membrane and the flow restrictor Saturday and am getting almost no product water at all from the unit. The waste water if flowing just fine, but I am getting very little product water. I keep water for my aquarium in a 30 gallon trash can and as of this morning, the unit has only filled the trash can 1/4 of the way full. I have the flow to the drinking water faucet turned off completely at this time.
In the email I sent this morning, I attached a Microsoft Word Document with linear diagram of how my unit is set up. The unit is on a dedicated 1/2" cold water pipe. The weather here has been in the 80s and 90s, so I don't believe cold water is the issue. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
George
