View Full Version : How can I ID my mantis?

Unfortunately I don't have a digital camera. Are there any ID pic links or anything? It is not very shy, so if there are distinguishing features of a particular species I'm sure I will be able to pick them out.
It is about 2.5" in length and reddish.

Assuming you got it as a hitchhiker on some LR, where did the LR come from (what company and region)?

It comes from "TBS" rock? not sure that that means. I picked it up from someone locally, and he actually has a photo on the board. i'll try to find a link.

sounds like N. wennerae, comes in most TBS rocks

That looks like my man! Differnt coloring, although i think he just molted (do they molt?) as I noticed some empty shell in my 5.5 nano today. will they change color at all?
