HI,

I know the limits as far as running hot water through an RO/DI unit. I am wondering, will any damage be done by operating and storing the unit in an area where the ambient temps reach 90-95F? I would like to locate the unit in the garage if possible. Please advise if these temps are dangerous to the membrane and unit. It is a CSP-DI 60.

Thaks
Drew

Good question. I have that unit and want to do the same thiing. I live in Texas so my garage is very hot as well.

To be safe, try to keep the overall temperatures under 100 deg.F.
Short blasts in the middle of the afternoon probably won't hurt anything. I know a lot of people who keep their unit in the garage. Beware of more sunlight in a garage; that will grow algae in the clear housings.
