I have had this clam since last sunday and it was been doing well I think except the passed two days it has looked like this on the left side. Is it pinching and if it is what should I do? The clam has never had the slit on the left gap but now it does not seem to be open at all is this ok also or is my clam in trouble? My tank parameters are all in check I did them 2 days ago. The only swing my tank really has is in temp going from 79.7 to 82.6 during the day. My corals and fish all look good including my montipora. I have had some recent problems with something that was causeing my coraline to bleach and die. Here is that thread incease they are related. I am not sure if I am over reacting or not but I love this clam and want it to be healthy.
Thanks
Derek

It looks good to me. Its a maxi, right? In the first pic it looks a little to far open, actually.
