crocea & sand bed

HI!:

I just got a crocea clam about 41/2 inches, put on live rock & keep finding the clam on the sand bed in the morning looks like he has dug into the sand bed (1/2inch sand bed). I have small bristle worms in the tank so wouldn't be better to be on a rock?

I have one on my rocks and two in the sand. Pretty much if it doesn't like where you have put it, the clam will move. I wouldn't worry about the bristleworms, besides, they live in the rocks too.
