I just found a unbefore noticed hitchiker on one of my live rocks. It is some type of clam or bivalve imbedded into a piece of caribean worm rock I bought a few months ago. All that is visable of the clam is its mantel when it is extended/open. The mantel is about 1.5/2" across light brown with white speckles. If someone lets me know how to post pictures i can take a picture of him.

If anyone has any ideas what this creature might be and how i should care for him ( lighting / food ) let me know. I would like to keep him but if i can't keep him happy i may trade in the rock.

I have a 29 gallon semi reef tank, with some soft corals, chrismas tree worms, clean up critters, and a firefish right now. my parameters are all good and i have about 120 watts over the tank.
