Here's my new little guy - finally using the cave I made for him(her?) but will probably abandon it for something new in a day hehe.

Without seeing the telson, it is difficult to tell for sure, but this is probably Neogonodactylus wennerae or N. bredini (The two are almost impossible to tell apart without genetic analysis).

just out of curiosity, what is the difference in appearance between the Neogonodactylus wennerae and N. bredini (different telson markings?)

They are extremely difficult to tell apart. There is no real difference in the telsons. The most obvious distinction is the length of the rostral spine and even here there is overlap. However, genetically they appear to be different.
