Hi Rodger-members
I have the 6100 streams and controller but I think they are to fierce in my 84x30x30 as it is mainly soft and lps corals I have ran it for 6 months at 30%-70% but a lot of coral look sqaushed so I wondered can I turn the screws on the blue box to slow them down? if so how do I go about it, how much do I turn them down ect?
Many thanks for any help Eddy

Read the manual. It describes how to turn them down. If they are still too strong then I would buy the transformer for the 6000. They push 4ft instead of 7ft. I have an LPS tank and bought the 6000s because I wanted a consistent but soft flow. My tank is 6ft long.

Adjusting the driver eliminates the control of the single controller it is an either or situation. Certainly someone on this board will trade you for the 6000 transformer and you can just downsize the pump.

All the controllers function the same and if you turn down the driver the controller doesn't get enough power and behaves eratically. The solution is to downgrade the transformer.

Where are you located?

I might have one or two x-formers for trade. I have to see until i get my 6100 transformer from PA. If it works ok on my tank i can trade one of them for now. Just let me know if you're interested.
