Hi - just recently installed an osmolator. Mounted it in my sump. The water level dropped sufficiently to activate it today. It ran fine and cut off at the right level. I left the room and came back an hour or so later and there was a constant stream coming from the supply line from my reservoir. The controller showed a green light -- the pump was not active and the flow was not as intense as with the pump on. None-the-less it had raised the sump level by an inch before I caught it. Any suggestions? Jay.

Is the water reservior higher than the sump?

As hwynboy said, the reservoir has to be below the end of the tube. In general the fill should always go up to the aquarium.

you said id siphon. You have to run the topoff to the tank and not the sump. If you run it into the sump it will cont to "leak" RO water.
