Wavebox Placement

Hey, a quick question I haven't seen posted yet...does the Wavebox face (the side with the Stream outlet) need to be pointed in a specific direction...ie; towards the long side of the aquarium? Could it face the short side? What effect would this have? Thanks in advance!

It needs to face lengthwise. Most aquariums are not wide enough to produce a wave if positioned the other way.

What if it were to be placed on the diagonal? I guess I'll find out when I get mine...thanks...

Given the need for a very secure mount, the diagonal is pretty much impossible. You really have to have the Wavebox clamped down good because the forces on it are pretty great.

Gotcha...I will build an insert for it to slide into...sort like I have for my Streams. I can put it lengthwise so it's not an issue...all this for a 75 gallon with nothing but snails now...man I need a job....
