I have a Rio Seio that runs 800GPH right now, and it is mounted on the back right hand corner of the tank, and angled towards the center of the tank.

I am hoping to replace it with a 6000 and a single controller? Is this a good setup? My 75 is 4 feet long. Can the 6000 be mounted at an angle? If so can you also mount at an angle with the magnet setup? Thanks.

Yes, Yes and Yes. You can angle both setups. No up and down motion though. I have 2 of them in my tank and they rock. You will not be sorry that you made the switch.

Do you think one is enough for a 75? I also have about 500 GPH coming from my return.

Depends on what your keeping/want to keep. Its been awhile since I looked at a pic of your tank. What do you have coral wise? It would be good for a mixed reef. If your leaning more towards SPS then you might consider 2 on a multi-contoler. 2 is nice because you can use tide mode. HTH

You can always start with one. They work without a controller so you can buy one and try it and then decide on a second and the controller later.
