Osmolator and surges

I was wondering about the osmolator- if a tank had a substantial surge device, would it effect the osmolators regulation of the water level?

Coz every surge would result in an increase of flow to the sump, and when the surge tank is being filled, the sump level would lower.

It should generally adjust to the low level being the norm and you will have to set the float way above so the high level does not cause an alarm. You may PM Anemone, he is the only person I know who has tried it with a surge device, it seems to work.
