Roger,
I can't seem to find out how thick my 2 all-glass tanks are so I thought I'd be safe and order the 6200.50. Now I read your statement that they are so strong I could possibly break the glass. I have 1 90 gal RR and 1 180 gal RR, both are the older model tanks. Could you please advise. Thanks

I have both size magnets, and on my 3/4" acrylic tank - the smaller size holds my 6100 no problem. I don't think you can break the tank if you practice ANY control, but you're probably perfectly fine with the smaller size on a 90 or 180. I don't think a 180 would be built with glass thicker than 1/2".

Thanks, I'm just a little cautious since an online vendor recommended a cleaning magnet for the 180 that only stayed together when it wasn't moved.

For the 90, the small one for sure, for the 180, the big one would be OK but most 180's are 1/2" glass. You can just check with a ruler at the seams to be sure or call All Glass.

Thanks Roger, I'll change my order today.
