No signs of my Mantis

I have this Mantis for a year now and it's about 2" long I would see it everyday when feeding time all of a sudden I have not seen or hear him for about 4 days now I looked all over the tank and I found to my surprice a large Gorilla crab about the size of a half dollar coin could he have killed the mantis?

Possible, but more likely it is hold up molting. Give it a few more days to reappear. Good luck.
