Did you buy them online? I need a good source for quality clams. Any online beside Clams direct would You recommend.
Thanks, Nakama

Elvis, seems to be Deja-Vu with you selling clams that you cannot afford. Do you buy with the intentions on selling them?

lebowski - the gold teardrop is nice, but not as nice as your colored teardrop was.

I love the new crocea...that is just beautiful.

The maroon clam with brown spots is beautiful- is that a common species?

Ahem, not exactly.. I actually impulse buy with clams.. My LFS never really have them and when they get them in I can't control myself and go to moneyhappy.. I end up spending too much that I shouldn't of had, feel bad, and can't return it.. I'm not selling either though.. I decided to keep them. I won't sell the crocea any time soon for sure ;).

Nakama, nope.. Got them from a LFS.. I'd advise to go to clamsdirect.com though.

Pikey- agreed here.

lunarlanderboy- It's called a teardrop maxima, from the tearlike spots on the mantle.. it is a Maxima, not a seperate species of Maxima but simply because of the pattern on the mantle..

Same old story again and again....

Well, the same person doesn't change his personality very often.. I just happen to have one where I can't make up my mind.. ;)

To clear up the confusion here....

These are MY CLAMS, I have them IN MY TANK.. Here's a little tankshot for you all

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v117/lebowski/130_3002.jpg

I believe I do see a crocea on the bottom, and a maxima on the top.. SO, I did not sell the teardrop.. I opted to sell it again, nobody bought it, so I kept it... Is this too hard to understand? It wouldn't be in the tank if someone bought it..

Nobody did, I had a chance of rebumping the sell thread.. I decided not to.. -end of story..

So back to the original thread.. How does everyone like my two new clams that I purchased..

:)
