Well, I just got my new clam in my tank. I found a spot on the LR where it would be secure, but it's near my xenia. Will this be okay? Currently, the very tip of 1-2 of the clams lobes periodically gets shadowed by the xenia. No problems with the rest. I figured that I could just cut back the xenia if it becomes a problem. And, since xenias tend to grow towards the light, the xenia may end up moving further away from the clam

Thanks. It seems happy. The xenia was scaring it a little at first, but everything seems fine now.

As long as it attaches it should love the spot :)

you might just have to trim it once in a while but should be ok
