Multi controller question

I have ordered a new 6000 with the new 7095 multi controller. I intend to add a second 6000 in the future. In the mean time can I run a normal MJ powerhead as a second pump off the multi controller? With say at least an on off type control (not necessarily speed).

The controller works via a 5pin DIN interface. Since the maxijet doesn't have this interface it isn't possible.
