got home from work today my clam was closed, looks like when my sailfin buzzes over it , it closes. the sailfin is a new addition and is fully grown any idea what to do with the clam? or give it a few days to get use to the fish activity?

He could just be "frightened". Watch carefully that the fish is not nipping at the clam. It's happened before. if it's true, then you have to pick between them.

Give it a few days. My Sailfin buzzes my clams all the time. Sometimes they close other time they dont. Your clam should get used to it.
