I finally brought my new mantis home today. After months of planning and reading, it's nice to finally have her here. I'm quite certain it's a female but will try to get a pic so the pros here can verify. She's right at 3" long and did 2 laps in the tank before diving in the pvc pipe I'd buried. Then she did some house-keeping (apparently she didn't like my decorating) and then harassed my cat. One of my cats was fascinated by her movements and anytime he'd approach the tank, she'd rush to the front and put on a threat display. This little creature is so amazing! I think I'm going to call her Omega.
