On New Years Eve, I went down to this new LFS I just discovered, and saw a huge Mantis in a tank with a Leather Coral. Man, that thing was scary. I can't believe the fear I had for this thing. He came running and stared at me for a while and my heart almost stopped! That was the first time I saw a Mantis (and that big) few inches from me.
I don't know if that's because I've read so much horror story on them or what but my heart was beating strong. I can only imagine what I will do if I happen to get a Mantis with my rock (especially like the one I've seen). Only scary creature I've seen so far is this weired looking crab (http://www.reefcentral.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&postid=359867#post359867)
According to LFS guy, he came out of one of their LR and almost got his finger. What I understood, nobody really goes close to that tank. I noticed some broken conch shell (you can't imagine the power)
