What time of year would be best to get a nice young octo? I don't want to buy one when there is only like a month left in its life. Looking at a bimac

It depends. If you request a small octopus thats your best bet. Usually winter time is the end of the season and they lay eggs and soon die. Its your best time to order a large octopus and maybe get a fertile female ready to lay eggs. However. Some times you can still get youg bimacs this time of year. My last bimac I orderd was orderd in January and lived till september. Thats 9 months!
