Can Tunze be used with wavemakers?

No. The pumps we make are all unidirectional, what that means is unlike your basic pumps that can spin clockwise or counterclockwise, they only work spinning one direction so we have a clutch system to prevent backwards spins and this is destroyed if the pump is started and stopped all the time. The only exceptions are the 6000, 6100 and the 7000 series pumps because the electronics replace the clutch which is kind of a vestigial organ and not used even though it is their. Of course in that case it would seem silly to use a plain wavemaker and by pass all the speed control features of these pumps.
