View Full Version : 1hr cycles?

I read in the manual that you are only allowed to cycle powerheads once every 30minutes. Is there anyway around this?
I have two Tunze 6060s and they aren't suppose to cycle more than once every hour. Is there any way that I can set the reefkeeper to cycle my tunzes on for 1hr, then off for 1hr? This would have to be independently assigned, because I'd want one on at all times, at offset intervals.
Thanks!

The manual actually says that the cycle time can be set for 20 seconds to 4 hours. Where does it say 30 minutes? So set the cycle time to 1 hour or more then they will toggle on and off at that interval.

Maybe it's because I have the V1.1 manual, with a V1.5 unit  I coulda swore I saw 30 minute intervals in the manual. Guess I'll go fiddle with the unit itself.

Hi Erik,
Yeah, we changed the wavemaker cycle time max from 30 minutes to 2 hours. The manual that is online right now shows 4 hours. We're going to be fixing that in the next rev. Always fun to know that that feature you want is already there, eh?! :)
BTW, you can always get the latest version of the manual here:
