I'm ready to buy a Reef Keeper. But their web site has no phone # to place an order.
I'm not too keen on buying stuff on-line over the web.

Trini, premiumaquatics.com sells them. You can order by phone with them.

Champion Lighting and Premium Aquatics are 2 places you can order by phone. Our site is strictly online. But our support is very responsive to emails.

Thanks for the info.
I ordered it today from Premium Aquatics.........and it was cheaper than Digital Aquatics.
Well, almost. With shipping it came out the same. DA has free shipping at this time.
For the price of the unit, I think talking to someone for support should be included.;)

When you get the unit there will be a phone # on the box.

We don't deny anyone phone support if that is what they need. We prefer email for obvious reasons, but have helped people over the phone whenever they have asked for that help. Besides, sometimes it is just easier to do that in certain situations.

Thanks. So it's like an x-10 thingy then?

nope....doesn't use x-10. comes with a power strip with 8 plugs. i like it better than x-10 stuff as you don't have to worry about interference and such.
i love my reefkeeper.

I love my reefkeeper. Can't wait for the PH probe, if there is going to be one.

No x-10 modultes required. The unit is complete and ready to use. Just plug your stuff in and program the controller. 10 minutes tops.

I just got mine in yesterday. What an excellent unit - high quality! I took the time to write out and draw a diagram of what i wanted where - so from the opening of the box till it was done programming took me about an hour. I mounted my channel-box underneath the tank inside the stand, near the top and my controller box on the outside of the stand on the far side, out of the way but easily accessible. I also mounted a powerstrip to the stand for use with one of the channels. The actual programming of the unit took, like Entropy said, less than ten minutes. This thing is awesome. Well worth the money!! One feature (besides Ph) that I wish it had was to be able to split the timer so there could be two different on/off times - for example, I have my moonlights on one channel, and I have them come on at 9:30 after my mains go out, and then shut off altogether at 11:30 (by then I'm asleep). It would be cool to be able to have them come on again at 6:30 am till my 9:00 am main start time. That way they wouldn't be on all night, but it would be more of a cool effect. Not a big deal, just thought I'd bring it up. Heck, maybe it can do this and I have no clue what I'm doing... LOL

Each channel only has one on and off time as you mentioned. Someone else mentioned wanting that feature as well. I couldn't find a use for it, but that sounds like a cool idea for the moonlighting. I guess you could also use it for running actinics before and after but not during that halide cycle if you had 20k bulbs or something.

Got mine today.
Nice unit.
Super easy to program.
Sure cleaned up a lot of clutter in the cabinet!
I did plug my return pump directly into the wall outlet.
That way, when I do water changes I just unplug it.
