It could also be Caulerpa sertularioides, also known as feather caulerpa but it is hard to tell just from this small image. :)

Well the worm part is the dark spot way down in. I pulled it off my skimmer when I cleaned it. I usually see them on my snails. I'm assuming it's alive.:lol: Focusing isn't my strong point.:lol:

i use a Nikon coolpix 5600. my pics arent as good as a lot of these, but all i do is use the macro mode, focus, hold the camera very still, snap pic :D

Grego, 10cm is only 4" away. That should be just fine. Once you are in Macro-mode, use the zoom to bring the object closer. Auto-focus by depressing the shutter button half way, then keeping the camera very still, take the shot.

i have about 10-15 of these in my main tank, and another 5-6 in my mantis tank. they hitchhiked on some LR some where down the line. i never see more than what this pic shows. most of the time its just legs. from what i gather they are strictly filter feeders, as i never see them travelling, and i see tons of little legs sticking out from the rock whenever i feed (esp. DT's or cyclops).
