I'm about to buy one of these Reefkeepers...but I have a question first.

Is there an easy way to override the timers and turn lights on or off manually? For example, I have friends that come over at 1AM and my regular lights are off and they want to see the tank, is there an easy way to override the timers and turn the main light channels on?

Thanks in advance.

If you have 5 seconds to spare, that's how long it will take.

Just scroll to channel your lights are on and program to "allways on".

I haven't tried this before on my Reefkeeper.

When you set to 'always on' then switch back to timer does it remember the schedule or do you have to key it back in ?

Just change the system time to a different time and then change it back when your friends leave :)

I have two spare outlets on my RK now, so I set one for always on. If I want to kick the VHO's on, I just swap the plug from one to the other. Just remember to switch it back when you are done. :D
