My Chaeto seems to be getting smaller, with seems like decaying pieces floating around my fuge, but at the same time i've seen an intense increase in color, its a really deep dark forest green compared to the light green it was when i got it. I've had it for about a week now.
Is it dyeing or is it on its way to recovering from the flight it had.?
Thanks

it's supposed to be deep dark forest green. when its close to the light it turns really light transparent type green. i had the same thing happen to me when someone shipped me some chaeto. you shouldn't be too concerned with it. give us an update on how it goes in 2 weeks :)

I am having the same problem with my chaeto. Very dark green color and very tightly bunched together. Was a large clump when I got it, now after 2 weeks, it is less than half the size of when I got it. Have fuge under 2 10K flors
Any ideas? Water parameters in the tank are on par all around

Nutrients is a big thing im hearing i put a few supplimental nutrients for plants into the water today Kent Iron and Kent-Tech I we'll see how that works out.
