Everyone is raving about the Tunzes and they are expensive plus a 3 month waiting list. I recently upgraded to a 58 gal(38x18x21) and I have 600gph retun and 2-300gph maxijets. I am looking for more flow. I am considering a closed loop with a 1200+ gph pump connected to 2 seaswirls or possible a tunze stream. Since I have never seen the tunze pumps in action could you give me some reccomendations. Would adequate water movement in an sps reef be optained by one controlled strea or do you need 2?

Thanks

I think a Stream might be too much for some of your corals. The 6000 and a single controller would be the one to get if you wanted to try it but I worry about the Xenia and burying the plate coral in sand. If I were to buy a pump for that tank I would get a single 7400/2 and a 7091 single controller. This would about double your flow from powerheads and use less energy than the 2 maxi jets.
