'Aquarium Obsessed' is building 2,000 gallon aquarium in the basement of his Toronto home. Did you see this thread?

Yeah, I saw that on a different site. My wife already said, "Don't get any ideas". :rolleye1:

I don't think I would do it.
I think I'd much prefer a lagoon type arrangement like Guy has...

I couldn't even do Guy's lagoon, but I would prefer it.
How many homes in America have a lagoon, anyway?

that is a crazy thread. I wouldn't put a main tank in the basement unless it was a regular part of your routine to be down there.

Its off to STAR WARS! yippie!

Guy has more pics of his lagoon (somewhere!)
Check out his RC photo gallery.....

Kent- let us know how you like 'Star Wars', but please don't give the ending away. :)

I think you should try to persuade Guy into letting you see his lagoon first hand, if at all possible.

I don't think Guy ha a specific site for this, but he does have the details and progress pictures posted on another forum somewhere. Perhaps he can post the link for all of us to visit, as I have forgotten what it was.... Pretty interesting and unique setup...

I saw that too, and it was very detailed and impressive. It was a commercial forum. I don't remember which one, though.

I posted lagoon info here ---> http://www.saltwaterfish.com/vb/showthread.php?p=608309#post608309

The pictures have been lost due to a BBS upgrade. I'll try to find backup pics & fix the thread.

EDIT:
Gary, I don't know if you have seen this thread or not but here's a link to a 1000gallon lagoon that I always admired.
