OK, skimmers are 4 weeks away, I was told that I should get some of the first units. The manual is almost finished and parts are ready.

The next shipment of pumps arriving next week will be black with silver drivers where applicable.

Great news!

Does it mean that it will be also available at the same time in Europe (Belgium)?
Thanks.

The pumps and waveboxes arrived Friday. I will start shipping them tomorrow If your dealer doesn't have single conrtrollers he needs to get some on order as I have them in stock here.

Yes, I know, now I understand why other German product importers never give dates. It is going to be a few more weeks. I am sorry, we just have our hands full, Interzoo is next May and we have to finish a lot of prototypes of new products and we just have too many irons in the fire and it has led to a lot delays. What I do know is that parts for about 200 skimmers have been made, the manual is finished in German and it is being worked on.

Roger, will there be a replacement skimmer for the comline 3110/2? I have a sumpless 40 gallon that I would like to put a comline skimmer on, or I guess in. :)

Yes, two options and I just got pricing.

DOC Skimmer 9002, similar but black and with a new more powerful pump and greater air intake venturi. It will cost $135.72.

The other option is Nano Reef Pack 200. It includes the same skimmer but is mounted side by side with a mechanical/chemical filter of the same physical dimensions. It includes the magnet holder for installation. It costs $183.54

Sweet! For the Nano Reef Pack 200, is that referring to 200 litres? It sounds perfect, but I want to make sure it's enough for my 40 breeder. That would allow me to eliminate both the hang-on the back skimmer and the HO powerfilter(which is used for carbon).

Yes, it is for 200L, it surface skims the water to supply the filter- this is a big advantage over hang ons, I hope to have them in a couple months. This is one I am particularly proud of- I invented it.

You should be proud, it's a great idea!:) I'll be anxiously awaiting it's release.

Any news on the latest Doc skimmers? This is the only component I am waiting for now to finish my reef setup. I refuse to change my order to a skimmer that uses twice as much power with no increased performance.

Eagerly awaiting...

They are saying for sure by the first week of August.

Patience is a virtue but this is testing me. Roger or Graeme (from aquadepot) any news? For a product announced in early 2004 this is an incredible lag time.
I hope Tunze will honour its policy of world wide release as outlined in this forum.

I just got an email today saying the first ones ship Monday. Sorry but this is the way it is.

Woohoo! I nearly cancelled my order today in despair but the extra 16W produced by my second choice skimmer made me hesitate. I can hang out for a little longer - water change bucket on standby in the mean time
