good or bad

hi, whats the consensus? It had hairy legs so I grabed him while I could. He is small, only 1/2 inch at the most. I put him in the water change resivour. But there is no substrate and high water movement (plus I pulled off one of his legs trying to get him) so he just got blown around all night and didn't make it. that looks like a red mithrax. relatively harmless when small but as it grows - it could potentially eat worms, algae, shrimp, fish - who knows. I think removing it (for future reference) is a good idea.
