After only 3 months of use on my ReefKeeper the temperature probe has went bad. Last night I was looking at the display and the temperature was jumping 3 or 4 degrees in a few seconds. It would go down to 71 and back up to 84 or so. It was causing my heater to click on and off, my fan/chiller to come on and off. This morning my tank was at 76 degrees. Ugh! so now I have the probe removed to try to stablize things. I've contacted Nick so hopefully he can send me a new probe quickly.

Can't believe after only 3 months the probe has went bad.

I figured it went bad, :) but did they send you a new one or did you do something to the existing one. TIA

Well they weren't sure if it was the probe or the unit so they exchanged both of them out.

Hi mattseattle. I have the same problem with the temp controller where tamp goes from 70 to 90 than back to 80 and so on. Do you know if Digital Aquatics has a phone number they can be reached at? I sent them an email but have not heard from them yet.

Hi idua,

I wrote an email to you last night, however, I just found it in my outbox this morning! I apologize for the delay. Let me know if you do not receive my reply.

Best Regards,
Paul

Nick - they'll take care of you quickly. I see they already have. Paul is a great guy.

Apparently mine was the first one that ever happened! :)
