What do you feed your octo?

I had my octo for 2 days not and so far he has only ate 2 hermits crabs, a ghost shrimp and a silverslide. He was eating just krill at the store.

I want to give him more of a variety what do you reccomend? I may be able to catch some small crayfish, would this be a good treat for him?

Also and ID would be great; is it a bimac?
