Hey guys. I thought you'd be interested that I resolved my lighting issue.
Believe it or not, it was indeed the BALLAST. Icecap replaced 2 capacitors.
So it is possible for a ballast to fail that way...for future note...
Thanks to all who responded.

Well mine does the same thing and has since I bought it. I turn it on it goes out in about 2 seconds. I keep repeating this until it finally stays on. I went through all bulb changes, wiring checks etc. How did you return yours? How quickly was it returned?? Cost? What can I do for lighting while its being repaired?
Thanks,
Kirk

Kirk,
Believe me, I understand how frusturating that is. I spent $150 on a set of new fluorescents and it did not help.
Check out www.icecapinc.com (http://www.icecapinc.com)
They have the address. Just ship them the ballast with a note and they will repair it for nothing as long as your in your warranty period.

Oh, I forgot to add. I was able to borrow a ballast from a LFS. They fixed it and sent it back in a day.
Good luck.
