I have a fluorescent bulb from Home Depot on my fuge and there will be a flicker of light every couple seconds when it's turned off. I asked about this a while ago and I was told to cut a wire on the x10 module, which I did, but it doesn't help. What else can I do?

Hippie,
Depending on which x10 module you have you may have to break 2 circuits. I had the same type of issues on my nano tank with a pc light on it. What module are you using?

yeah, according to Curt there are two circuits to cut. Here is a quote from another thread.
"- Follow the instructions on our website to disable local control in the module. Here's the link http://www.neptunesys.com/hardwareFAQ.htm#LOCALCONTROL. . Also you'll want to cut the lead on the diode (black cylinder w/ white band) in the lower left hand corner.

I have the AM 466 module (not the pro module). So, do I cut the diode lead that I boxed out in red?

I have always cut that bottom one. I belive it is the local control for that model.

Thanks for keeping the picture posted. I was having the same problem and only cutting the jumper did not help. Cutting the diode in the corner solved the problem!

Thanks again for the info. I had to mod another one today for a new refugium light.
