I have a 7095 multi with 2 X 6100s. It was working fine for 1 month, but now the moonlight does not light up at all. Even in complete darkness the LED does not light. I have the controller at Moon + Night phase on interval 2. The pumps operate as in daylight. Any ideas?

It could be in a new moon phase? It goes through 29 lunar phases and their are lunar phases where the moon is not reflecting light so it is totally dark.

But for 3 days? I even try to turn the light on and off throughout the day to see if it would go past the new moon phase and turn the moonlight back on. Still no go. In addition, I have the controller set on night mode and before the pumps would power down to both 30% when the light are turned off. But now the pumps operates as if during the day time with the full power. Very weird...

Hmm, in that case maybe the photocell is getting ambient light, or it has turned around, it has an up side and a down side, downside has wires over the photocell. Make sure the night mode LED and Moonlight LED on the controller are on. If that doesn't fix it, it needs to come in.

Are you Benson? I do have a box from Benson but I have not yet opened it, I will get to it today, it arrived yesterday around 3pm.

It actually works but it has a fragile connection so if you move it wrong it stops working, I just traded you out for mine which is only been used a few months and it works very well. I can live with the fragile connection.

Hi Roger,

I have a different question. My Moon light comes on night after night and sometimes shuts off. Why do you think it would be lit for 2-3 nights in a row?

I have 2-6000 and a 7095.

Thanks,
jason

? It should come every night. The only exception being the one day out of the month it is in new moon phase and the first and last two crescent moon phases are also barely visible.

This is what we are trying to simulate and it brightens and dims accordingly.

I have a question about the moonlight & photocell. Is there a way to remove them if you decide not to use it? Can I just open up the controller box and unplug it or something? Thanks.

No, but you can turn it off. We switched to hard wiring most peripherals becausee the plugs were prone to water damage.
