Roger,
There is a very high pitched ear piercing tone coming out of the metal rectangular box for my 6100. i unplugged the controller, but that did not make a difference. when i unplug the transformer (and with it the power) it stops. the stream is not running either (i assume for the same reason).
What is it? and how can i fix it? the unit is a little over a year old, nothing ever got wet (except of course the stream in my tank)
