Jesus' new 240G tank update

Okay..I was at Jesus' house yesterday and got a chance to play with a new DSLR camera that he borrow from his friend, so I decided to take some pix of his tank. Pix came out okay since I am still learing about this new camera.

What is this? Can anyone ID this coral?? It's got blue polyps on top and pinkish polyps going down towards the base.

It's nice to see the 240g up again. Where did all the fish go?

Lost all of it except for yellow goby and purple. Made a mistake of introducing a achilles tang. Infected all with ich and bacteria. Nice to ear from you by the way. Have you upgraded yet? Going to the Mars fragswap? Anything new? Oh, I also lost alot of corals during the move. It's ok, I can get it back since I gave Paletta a frag of most of the rare ones.

Lots of cool sticks in there but I still say that the 125 has it beat, there was just something special about that tank. Of course the 240 has only been up for a few months now... so all things considered it should be pretty wild in the near future!

Upgrade? Don't let my wife hear you. I am going to keep the 100g for the next few years. My next tank is going to be a Japanese style frameless 150/180. I won't be going to MARS this year, but I will be in the bay area that weekend.

Nothing too new over here. I did make the switch to 10K AB bulbs. I am not going back to 14K. I may try BLV bulbs next.

I was running 10K BLV on my 125. Currently running 14 Phoenix. After these bulbs burn out will go back to BLV.

I was running 10k on the 125G but now running 14k phoenix. Not really impress with it. Maybe I have not given it more chance but it has been about 3 months now and coloration is ok, not as bright as my old tank. Jason was telling me that the BLV 14 is realy good. I see that you are running a group buy for it. Has it started yet? Do you know what spec it has? If it's not too late may be I 'll put in an order as well. I did a test and put 2 of my 7 moth old 10K BLV and the corals seems to have nicer color with it. Just the colors are more vibrant. Can you include 10k with the order? I cheapist 10k BLV was $80. I was told that the 10k is actually 13K. I hear that the 14K is more white. If you can't get the 10k for the same price, I'll try 14K. Maybe you should put me down for 5.

Jesus.. I just built my new hood for the neew setup last night and switched back to 10k's with actinics.. We'll see how everything does compared to with the 14k's..

I'll need to come by one of these days to start restocking=) Hey any suggestions for a good algae eating fish to be the single fish in the clam tank? it's all SPS, barebottom with 150x/hour turnover in it=)... Algae Blenny? Or maybe a Very small tang?
