Hi Roger, I'm fortunate enough to be ordering my dream tank it is 120x36x24.

I already have one wavebox and a couple streams from my previous tank (6ft, 135G)

I assume I will need a second wavebox. I think I am going to make a horizontal either 48" or 60"x6"x6" with 2 or three drain bulkheads in the center of the back of the tank.

My questions.

1) I have heard you comment on the noise factor due to end overflows. Will I have an issue since it is in the center of the back since it is so long or will that be acceptable? The other I contemplated was doing 3 12" long horizontal overflows spaced roughly 18" apart with one being centered in the back. Any drawbacks or advantages from the perspective of having the wavebox with one ove the other?

2) Do I need to cut the teeth on the overflows a little deeper then the standard to avoid this splashing/over the side issue?

Thanks

You will need an extension 6212.50

I would go with the one centered overflow and have the teeth end 2.5" from the top of the tank.
