Buy a calibration solution from a RC sponsor (http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewItem.asp?idproduct=AQ3339)

i heard those are highly unreliable.

They might be unreliable (I would have no way of knowing either way) but when I got my factory calibrated ORP monitor it was right on.

Just tried a 400 solution and my probe came back at 390. Close enough for me...

American Marine (pinpoint) has done some beta testing with a 400 value cal fluid (I tried it and liked it) - I don't know if it is on the market yet,
