I just got my rock less than a month ago, and he hitch hiked in. I have him in a bucket now, still alive and well, but not sure what it is. I got him out of the tank until I know for sure if he is safe or not. Thanks.

Yes, It seems to be an Gonodactylellus affinis sometimes you get in LR from Tonga and Fiji. You can setup a nice lil 2.5gal for it if your wish.

you are one lucky fellow! those are realy hard to find! they stay small to. maybe set up a mini bow for the little guy.

oo and even if you left him in your tank he wouldnt be able to kill anything because of his size.

wow, Cool Mantis! I like those colors! IS it a clubber or spearer?? I would set up a little 5-10 gal nano tank for him!

a smasher and a 2.5gal or 2.5gal mini bow would be fine for life.

I would just like to throw out that if you don't want to set up a small tank for it I would be MORE THAN HAPPY to pay for overnight shipping, plus a little something for your troubles.

As would I!!! I have a tank set up in my classroom, and I'm looking for a mantis to put in it.

It would appear to be a Haptosquilla. I can't see the telson, but it is probably H. glyptocercus.
